Land Owners

Your idle land can grow again

Own land in Kanthalloor, Munnar or elsewhere in Kerala but have no time to farm it? Register it with Farmount. We farm it and share the profit — or guide you to farm it yourself.

About the programme

Turning empty land into a working farm

Across Kerala, a lot of good land lies empty because owners live far away or have no time to farm. Farmount takes on this land and turns it into productive farms — vegetables, fruits, spices and trees suited to the soil and climate.

You stay the owner. We sign a clear written agreement, do the farming with our team and local volunteers, and share the income with you. Your land is cleared, cared for and protected instead of lying idle.

Options

Three ways we can work with your land

Lease to Farmount

We lease and farm the land under a written agreement. You receive a fixed lease amount.

Farm & share profit

We run the farm on your land and you receive a share of the yearly profit.

Guided farming

You keep control. We plan the crops and send verified volunteers to do the work.

FAQ

Common questions

Will I lose ownership of my land?

No. You always remain the owner. Farmount only farms the land under a written agreement for a fixed term.

What is the minimum land size?

There is no strict minimum. Small plots near other Farmount land can be combined into one farm.

How long is the agreement?

Terms usually run for several years so crops and trees can establish. The duration is agreed with you.

I live abroad. Can I still register?

Yes. Many of our land owners are NRIs. We share updates and photos on WhatsApp.
